Louise co-leads Bates Wells’ Purpose & Impact Strategy Group and advises a wide range of organisations seeking to achieve a positive social and environmental impact. Louise is also a trustee of B Lab (UK) and helped to bring the B Corp movement to the UK and to develop the legal requirements for B Corps. She has advised on a number of high profile, innovative and complex social investment matters and regularly advises businesses operating in the purpose and impact space with clients ranging from charities, international NGOs, not-for-profit organisations, B Corps, social banks, social enterprises, social investors, entrepreneurs and philanthropists.
