Jens Magers is a specialist in Sustainable Corporate law, Head of Italian Desk and chairs the Sustainability & Impact Practice of the firm. He is a lecturer for Sustainable Corporate Governance at EBS Universität in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany. He is co-editor and co-author of the textbook “Sustainable Corporate Governance – Aktienrechtliche Grundlagen einer nachhaltigen Unternehmensführung”, published by Springer Gabler, one of the first books on Sustainable Corporate Governance under German law. Jens main areas of expertise are M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions with a focus on Impact Investing and Corporate law. He has a strong track record in both national and cross-border transactions, co-operations and joint ventures. He advises members of management and supervisory boards of listed and unlisted companies on Corporate law and Sustainability-related issues, such as Corporate Governance matters and fiduciary duties as applied to climate change.
