Didier Boua Doux is the Managing Partner of Kwaliance. Didier’s practice covers energy, natural resources and infrastructure-related project finance transactions with a particular focus on African mining, oil and gas, power and infrastructure projects. He represents sponsors, governments, state-owned entities, banks, financial institutions or investment funds. He regularly advises the clients on transactions governed by OHADA law, the common body of commercial and company laws applicable in 17 African countries. Didier has also experience in structured trade, commodities and export finance transactions and private equity.
Prior to the launch of Kwaliance in 2023, Didier was a partner of Asafo & Co in Abidjan, an of Counsel in the E&I team of Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, and an associate in the Project Development and Finance or Africa Group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, Shearman & Sterling LLP, and Simmons & Simmons LLP in Paris.
