Eric Favre has joined the firm as Counsel in January 2020 after being an associate with a major Swiss business law firm and an inhouse legal advisor with the Swiss banking subsidiary of a major US Firm, both in Geneva.
Eric Favre’s activities focus on all matters of regulatory and private law in asset management, investment and banking matters. He furthermore advises in all areas of business law, such as financings, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.
After completing his legal education in Geneva, he was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2003 and trained at a major Geneva business law firm. He then has been an attorney-at-law in the banking and finance, and the investment products and services teams of Switzerland’s largest law firm, for five years. Then, in order to perfect his business and finance knowledge, he completed a full-time MBA at the London Business School in 2013. Then, in order to get industry exposure, Eric has been a Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, with the Swiss banking subsidiary of a major US Firm.
