David has been a solicitor for 30 years in a career spanning real estate, construction, procurement, strategic partnerships and project finance. For the last decade, his focus has been around governance, transactional and financing advice to social and impact investors; to purpose-led businesses, social enterprises and charities; and to community organisations including co-ops and credit unions, community land trusts, community energy companies and community benefit societies. David is increasingly interested in how the law may be used to deliver systemic change, address power imbalances and nurture more generative relationships between parties.
