In early 2026, GAIL launched a new programme for members working in-house.
GAIL’s global in‑house community was created to recognise the distinct role of in‑house impact lawyers and to provide a trusted, peer‑led space for practical exchange.
The initiative aims to:
- Connect in‑house impact lawyers across regions and sectors
- Share practical tools, templates, and real‑world experience
- Support lawyers navigating impact, ESG, and governance challenges from inside organisations
This new community identified priority areas:
- Impact investment & blended finance
- Integrating impact / ESG into practice
- Board engagement & internal advocacy
- Drafting & negotiating impact clauses
- Impact governance
- Supply chain & social procurement
- Career pathways & leadership
Initial events have covered:
- Impact considerations when instructing external counsel
- Adaptive leadership frameworks in the face of uncertainty
In-house GAIL members can access the content of previous sessions through GAIL’s membership forum, Mighty Networks. Log in to your member account for instructions to join Mighty Networks.
In-house GAIL members who want to be added the mailing list are invited to get in touch.
