Roberto Randazzo is responsible for the ESG and Impact industry at Legance. With a background in commercial and corporate law, he has developed transversal expertise in sustainability, ESG criteria, impact finance, and social innovation, assisting investment funds, benefit corporations, B-Corps, and companies interested in generating positive and measurable impacts. For more than twenty years Roberto has also been involved in non-profit organisations, strategic philanthropy and social entrepreneurship, dealing with projects both nationally and internationally, with focus on emerging markets, and in particular those in Sub-Saharan Africa. He has always combined professional and academic activities, and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Tiresia – Politecnico di Milano and a member of the Extended faculty of MIP – Politecnico di Milano.

Roberto acted as president of esela – The legal network for social impact now transitioned to the Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers (GAIL), is Emeritus Director of GAIL and board member of GAIL Europe. Roberto is also Officer of the Business Human Rights Committee of the International Bar Association, Advisor of OECD, member of the Social Impact Agenda, the Italian NAB of the GSG. Roberto has been Honorary Consul of the Republic of Uganda in Milan and Northern Italy since 2012.

Alissa Pelatan, member of the Paris, California and Washington DC Bars, is a partner and founder of AMP AVOCAT.

Passionate about social enterprise law, she advises entrepreneurs in the creation and management of ESS companies (classic or hybrid) and mission-oriented companies, in France and internationally. She helps companies in their cross-border transactions and answers questions relating to commercial law, company law, association law and cooperatives.

Member of the Board of Directors of B-Lab; Co-founder of the ESELA network; Member of the EVPA Policy Committee; President of the Collective Impact Lawyers; Visiting professor for 10 years in several universities and in particular Science Po Paris, University Paris 2, Catholic University of Lille, Paris Descartes.

Bas is a corporate partner and one of the founders of Rutgers & Posch. He has a wide-ranging corporate, commercial and M&A practice, with a particular emphasis on corporate governance, joint ventures, stock exchange matters and activism defence. Bas is trusted legal adviser to some large international companies and he does a significant amount of work for listed companies and financial institutions.

Bas started his career at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, before heading the legal department of the Dutch rail operator Nederlandse Spoorwegen. From 1998 to 2013 he was a corporate partner at Houthoff. He has also served as a deputy judge at the District Court of Arnhem for ten years. Bas gives lectures for the Foundation for Professional Training of In-House Counsel (Stichting Beroepsopleiding voor Bedrijfsjuristen) and is a fellow of the Zuidas Institute for Financial Law and Corporate Law (ZIFO) of the VU University in Amsterdam. He regularly publishes on corporate governance and other matters of corporate law and is also a frequent speaker on these topics.

Jeremy Nicholls is an advisor to Social Value International (SVI) on the relationship between financial and sustainability reporting and also the Assurance Framework lead for the UNDP SDG Impact Standards. He is an honorary senior fellow in accounting at the University of Liverpool and a member of A4S’s expert panel and of GRI’s due process oversight committee. He originally qualified as a chartered accountant.

Sarah is the Executive Director of the Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers,  a community of legal leaders who are using their careers to have a positive impact on people and the planet, and to accelerate the just transition.

Sarah runs GAIL from the offices of Bates Wells, the first UK law firm to become a B Corp, where she was previously Impact Economy Manager.

Sarah is named one of the top 100 Women in Social Enterprise in the UK and a finalist for the 2023 Rising Star award.

She is a Fellow of On Purpose, the profit with purpose leadership programme. Her career has spanned impact investment at Big Society Capital, as well as improving access to justice in the UK as Head of Trusts at Support Through Court, and in Kenya and Uganda at African Prisons Project.

Sarah was called to the Bar of England and Wales and holds qualifications in Law and English.
