This was the first of many events during GAIL’s launch Week, unveiling of the forward-looking agenda of the organisation, which will support the growth of a community of ‘impact lawyers’ who will advocate for and champion a rapid and just transition towards a truly sustainable and inclusive economy.

He serves as Chair of the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment, The Portland Trust and The Impact-Weighted Accounts Initiative at Harvard Business School. He is a co-founder and former Executive Chairman of Apax Partners Worldwide, a global private equity firm. He is a co-founder of Social Finance UK, USA, and Israel; and co-founder Chair of Bridges Fund Management and former co-founding Chair of Big Society Capital. He graduated from Oxford University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is the author of the Wall Street Journal Best Seller IMPACT: Reshaping capitalism to drive real change.
