We’re delighted to have partnered with the GSG to organise a panel at the GSG Global Impact Summit 2023 in Malaga on 2 – 3 October 2023.
Navigating the regulatory landscape: how are investors and corporates responding to market transformation?
Legal and regulatory structures have evolved to support traditional forms of capitalism. Led by
the Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers, this panel will look at the impact of changes in
investment behaviour on both regulation and legislation, and identify the steps required in the
capital markets to support responsible impact investing.
This panel will provide a deep dive into the recent regulatory developments around sustainable finance and impact across jurisdictions, bringing the expertise of lawyers from Europe, the US, Asia and Latin America.
Panellists will focus on key developments in each jurisdiction, as well as bringing in the
perspective of investors on how the developing regulatory landscape is shaping the impact
landscape across jurisdictions.
The discussion will also focus on the practical impact on investors and the potential operational implications for companies and financial intermediaries, at the centre of this market transformation and “perfect storm” of regulation.
The panel includes the following GAIL members:
We’re also delighted that GAIL Vice President Michael Ryland will also be speaking on a panel on How are financial institutions starting to embed impact in their policies, processes, and reporting?
If you are a GAIL member attending the GSG Global Impact Summit on 2-3 October 2023 and would like to connect with other GAIL members, please get in touch!
