Constanza Connolly is a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires and obtained her Master’s Degree in Corporate Law from Austral University.
She is a specialist in corporate law, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and has vast experience with businesses seeking positive social and environmental impact. She advises on the design and development of impact funds aimed at promoting sustainable finance and with a focus on ESG (environmental social governance). In addition, she is a specialist in sustainable value chains and complex structures for creating solutions for non-traditional figures, including organizations with non-profit and for-profit “hybrid structures”.
She recently co-founded Keidos Legal Impact, a consultancy focused on generating, facilitating and/or scaling the impact of organizations seeking to make sustainability a core element of their DNA, building the impact market in Latin America and in the development of public policies for the new impact economy. She is co-founder of the “Latin American Network of Impact Lawyers” to promote impact businesses in the region and is a member of its Board of Directors. She has been named Vice President of the GAIL Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers. She is also a board member of Argentina NAB – GSG Impact Investment Task Force. She actively participates in the “Network of Payment for Results of Latin America.”

Sophia has more than ten years of professional experience in the legal field. She has specialized in corporate and tax law, working for the largest law firms in Central America. Her passion is to contribute to society through her work, putting it into practice in the different areas of law. She joined ‘seed by EY’ as Manager for Costa Rica in 2018, seeking to improve the quality and innovation of legal services provided to clients. In her daily work, Sophia manages the provision of services generated from the seed client portfolio in Costa Rica, coordinating with the different EY sub-lines for the comprehensive and multidisciplinary provision of the services required by SMEs in their different stages of maturity. Throughout her career, Sophia has participated in consulting and training projects for companies, highlighting her experience in the administration of projects, product of contracts with state institutions, including: National Learning Institute, Foreign Trade Promoter, Ministry of Health, among others. Her experience also includes her participation as a mentor, evaluator and judge of the most relevant entrepreneurial skills in Costa Rica.

Claudio Maes holds a BA in Economics (UERJ), a Master’s degree in Public Administration (Columbia University), and a specialization in regulation (UFRJ). Claudio has been working for the Securities Commission of Brazil since 2002, having led teams in the areas of public offerings, investment funds, financial education and, since 2018, Market development. Claudio has already participated in countless working groups, seminars and training on capital markets in Brazil and abroad. Currently, Claudio is part of the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges and coordinates two working groups of the LAB – Financial Innovation Laboratory , one dedicated to Regtechs and the other to Sustainable Fintechs. Claudio has published four articles. Lately, Claudio has been particularly interested in the topic of Sustainable Finance.
