Julie Ryan is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of ImpactGC, a Washington D.C.-based B Corp law firm that advises impact-driven companies on international transactions, sustainable financing, M&A, ESG initiatives, and corporate structuring. With a background at Clifford Chance LLP and Akin Gump LLP, she brings deep experience in complex cross-border transactions and now focuses on helping mission-aligned businesses navigate legal challenges with practical, collaborative solutions. Julie also teaches transactional lawyering at Georgetown Law, serves on the North America Regional Board of the Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers (GAIL), and is active in numerous B Corp and social impact initiatives.

Beyond her legal practice, Julie is passionate about supporting women- and minority-owned businesses and purpose-driven start-ups, particularly in the climate tech and social impact sectors. She has co-founded AltaClaro, an experiential online learning platform for lawyers, and volunteers with organizations such as Lawyers for Good Government (L4GG) while maintaining an active pro bono practice. Fluent in French and Spanish, Julie has worked abroad in Colombia and Switzerland, and now lives in the Washington D.C. area with her husband and two children. Ivy Brewer is an Associate Attorney at Adler & Colvin, a San Francisco–based law firm nationally recognized for its work with nonprofit organizations and philanthropic institutions. In her role, Ivy advises mission-driven organizations on corporate, governance, compliance, and regulatory matters, helping them navigate the complex intersection of law and impact.

Prior to joining Adler & Colvin, Ivy served as Assistant General Counsel at Social Finance, Inc., a pioneering national nonprofit that develops innovative impact finance solutions to drive measurable social progress. There, she managed corporate governance, impact investment diligence, and compliance for a SEC-registered investment adviser, while collaborating across the organization for effectiveness.

Ivy is deeply committed to servant leadership, lifelong learning, and advancing equity through law and finance. She is a graduate of Howard University (JD/MBA), Troy University (MPA), and Pepperdine University (BA).

Zvia Schoenberg is the Executive Director of the Grunin Center for Law and Social Entrepreneurship at NYU School of Law, where she advances the Center’s mission to support the community of lawyers and legal institutions engaged in social entrepreneurship, impact investing, and sustainable development. She began her career as a corporate lawyer at Fried Frank, where her pro bono work focused on representing the first charter school to open in New York State, the Sisulu-Walker Charter School. After fifteen years practicing education law, she took on executive roles in mission-driven education organizations, including serving as CEO of A-List Education and President of Enactus United States. Her volunteer leadership includes co-chairing EdTech Women NYC, founding the NYC chapter of 1 Million Cups, and supporting the launch of the Ed3 DAO. Throughout her career, Zvia has focused on advancing positive social change through education innovation. Zvia earned her JD from NYU School of Law and her BA from Washington University in St. Louis.

Susan Pascocello is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience across private and public sectors, including 25 years in international development. Renowned for her strategic leadership and operational excellence, she has deep expertise in governance, regulatory, and environmental issues within complex global contexts. As General Counsel of Chemonics International, a consulting firm with 6,000 employees in over 100 countries, she advises the CEO and Board on corporate governance, compliance, and strategic growth. She has guided the company through sanctions regimes, acquisitions, and major climate financings, while transforming governance structures and managing a $6 million legal budget.

Previously, Susan served as Acting General Counsel and senior Deputy General Counsel at USAID, overseeing legal matters for 10,000 employees and an annual budget exceeding $40 billion. She led over 130 attorneys worldwide, advancing U.S. government priorities and pioneering innovative partnerships such as the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis & Malaria. A recognized leader in risk management and ethical reform, she launched initiatives addressing sexual misconduct in international development and co-founded Georgetown Law’s Law of International Development Initiative. With extensive nonprofit board experience, she has served organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association and the Coalition for Equity in Development. Honored with the DC Bar’s 2022 Rosenberg Award for Excellence in Government Service, she holds degrees from the University of Virginia and Georgetown Law, where she continues to teach and serve on the Law Alumni Board.
