GAIL Asia Pacific Drop-In Session

We are pleased to invite you to our inaugural APAC GAIL members drop-in session. Please join us for an informal hybrid meet-up, with live venues and online access in Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, India, and Malaysia.

This event offers an opportunity to:

  • Meet fellow members from across the APAC region
  • Share updates on recent GAIL summit, work and impact initiatives
  • Discuss possibilities for collaboration
  • Highlight legal and regulatory developments relevant to impact law

The session will run in a hybrid mode:

Virtual participation available for those joining remotely. A Zoom link will be shared with all participants who have registered for virtual participation.

In-person gatherings with limited seating are hosted in the following cities, and participants can get in touch with their preferred location and join the session in-person.

  • Introduction to Impact Law: A short overview of how legal tools, structures, and advisory practices are being used worldwide to embed purpose, sustainability, and accountability into business operations.
  • About GAIL: A walkthrough of the network’s mission, activities, and achievements – from global conferences and regional chapters, to working groups, policy submissions, and practical toolkits. The session will also share GAIL’s upcoming priorities for the APAC region.
  • Participant Introductions (as feasible): A quick introduction round so participants can get to know one another, fostering cross-border connections and potential collaborations across practice areas.
  • Open Discussion and Q&A: An interactive conversation on the current landscape of impact-aligned legal practice in APAC, what practitioners are seeing on the ground, and how GAIL can support this growing ecosystem.
