I’m a public interest lawyer with experience in private practice and public advocacy, working to offer civil society actors the legal & public affairs capacity they need to advance their missions.
I lead the pro bono publico initiative connecting civil society organizations with a network of professionals – including law firms, public affairs consultancies and companies – willing to volunteer their advice in consideration of the social value of such activities.
This free-matchmaking activity is supported by quarterly round-tables gathering Brussels’ pro bono legal community and legal clinics involving different European universities; furthermore a summer academy is in the making!
Before launching Pro Publico I practiced as a corporate and investment counsellor for international projects across Europe, being a graduate summa cum laude of the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna and having studied International and European Tax Law at King’s College London, Law and Business at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid and at the Institute for Sustainability Leadership of the University of Cambridge.
On a personal level I am determined “to leave this world a little better” also through an active participation in public advocacy initiatives with different civil society organisations, social and political movements and non-profits.
