Annalucía Fasson is a leading figure in the fashion and sustainability legal market in Peru, advising several big players and participating in complex operations. She received her BA in Law at Universidad de Lima, graduating magna cum laude. She studied her LL.M. with a specialisation in Finance and Corporate Law at Universidad ESAN, where she currently holds tenure teaching the Fashion Law seminar at the Graduate School of Business. She is also a professor at Universidad de Lima and Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, and has taught as visiting lecturer in several universities and institutes in Peru and Latin America. She has a specialisation in Fashion Law by Fordham Law School in New York City, and has been a trailblazer in Fashion Law ever since, introducing the concept to the Peruvian legal market and becoming one of the most recognisable figures in the sector. She was one of the first lawyers in Peru to discuss sustainability, and has advised several companies in the process of becoming a BIC company, which involves a series of commitments to protect the environment. She is also one of the first lawyers to discuss the legal implications of the Metaverse, advising companies who consider participating in this new market by creating NFTs and dealing in cryptocurrency.
She is currently Senior Partner at the Corporate Law and Digital Investments Department at Estudio Muñiz, as well as Head of its Fashion, Luxury and Retail Law Department. She is also the inaugural Chairwoman of the Fashion and Retail Law Commission at the Lima Bar Association.
